Weight-Based Plasma Pay — How BioLife Rates Work
How weight-based plasma pay works at BioLife. According to published BioLife compensation schedules, donor pay is determined by a tiered system based on donor weight.
How Weight Tiers Work
BioLife generally uses a weight-based compensation scale. Donors who weigh more may qualify for higher per-donation compensation rates. According to donor-reported information:
- Standard Tier (110-149 lbs): base compensation rate
- Mid Tier (150-174 lbs): increased compensation
- Upper Tier (175+ lbs): highest compensation rate
Exact tier thresholds and compensation amounts vary by center. Use our earnings calculator for standard rate estimates.
